Irma Near Record Strength and Not Slowing Down

Late Tuesday, the now Category 5 storm, Irma, was almost upon the Caribbean islands with 185 mph sustained winds. It’s much too early to tell if the storm will make landfall on the US, but even a miss could cause serious damage to the southeastern coast.
